Kitty food container

Last night Dirk and I were discussing what else we need to get for the trailer. I had just ordered the heat tape and there's only two big items left to get. Cellular shades, which we'll wait on until we actually get the trailer. And the Purple Line Mover, which we'll get soon before we get the trailer.

I told him I had everything else I needed for the inside, except for a few things from Ikea (purchased this morning) and The Container Store (which, I just found out are discontinued - bummer).

Until I went into the Container Store today and saw these! Um, yeah, I really need 'em for the trailer! Got 4 of 'em. One for dry cat food, one for kitty litter, one for TP in the bathroom and I'll find something for the other. Like in our house! :-)

I figure 2 of 'em can fit in the space between the bed and the drawer stack.

I'm and then some!

I love the cat food containers! I have 3 big dogs and I'll have to budget (both money and space!) for those!!

Yeah, their dog food containers were nice. I like the one on wheels and could use that at home, but alas, the kitties might get mad if it had doggies all over it.

Good point!! I have 5 cats, so I'd probably need the dog-sized one anyway!

With Hershey and Franklin I use cleaned out plastic kitty litter pails, these are really sturdy buckets and I hate to dispose of them. I wash very clean and fill with dog food. Each bucket will last about one week and one bag will fill the bucket twice. I over look that the dogs are starting to meow a little now....

I use big Rubbermaid totes at home, but kitty litter-containers would probably work well in the trailer. Of course, each dog is on a different food, to complicate things...
