Lagun Mount with Stock Slider Assembly

I am starting the build for my 21’ (yay) and have decided to delete the stock table and install a Lagun mount instead. Linda at ETI asked it I wanted the stock slider assembly attached. I had guessed that I would attach the top to the Lagun mount directly and would not need/want sliders. Am I missing something? Does anyone on the forum have any insight into this question? Thanks much!

I am not acquainted with the slider you named.
We have an older 19 ft. Trailer.
What ever table you choose, I would request a 3/4 inch plywood sheet perhaps 3’x 3’ embedded into the front wall of the trailer under the front window.
Purpose! If in the future you wish to modify the trailer, you will have a solid section of wall to attach to.

With the Lagun table mount I do not see the need for slider assembly. You can turn the whole table and Lagun left or right as well as rotate the table top 360 or almost 360 depending on size of table top. My table top on Lagun mount is not square, but rectangle and able to rotate 360.

I retained the slider mounted front to back. Make more flexibility. Is heavy though. I originally mounted some little blocks to the ETI slider to reduce slop.

You can always remove the slider later.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was thinking as well - so much flexibility with the Lagun mount that there is no need for the added weight and complexity of the slider assembly.

This is not a reply to the OP question, but related, sort of...
Does anyone know where I can get the table slider assembly that ETI installs? I am looking for the plastic bits under the table top.
I have built a new, smaller tabletop that is better suited to us, but I want to be able to put the original back. We have a 5.0 without the U-shaped dinette.

As Skiman does, we use the stock slider to move the table fore and aft. The Lagun mount is great for moving the table side to side, but without the slider the fore/aft position of the table is fixed. We also had all 4 corners of the table trimmed. This way we can turn it around in any direction and it is much easier to slide in and out of the seat without disturbing anyone sitting on the other side of the table.
