The color Escape uses is neutral but fabric spray would work to change your color. Pat

Yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of making the fabric opaque, regardless of color. The interior side would remain unchanged.

Thank you for taking the time to post all those pics, Laura. The ones that impressed me most are the door pics as the close-ups reveal a much more appealing door than the ones posted earlier. At the time, I thought it looked just like the dorky doors on all the other trailers but your pics show a classier door (I think). I still don't like the screen door issue (love my retractable) but I have my forever trailer so it doesn't matter.

Yes, last June. Though it was in the SE part, Juneau and Sitka.

I get the point though, as though we have longer daylight hours in Calgary during the summer than those further south, daylight is only from about 5am to 11pm, so not sleeping during those hours. Further north, there are definitely much longer days. I never had issue with sleeping with bright light shining though, 'cause with my eyelids closed I can't tell.

You're welcome. Yeah, the door was nicer in person than I thought it would be. Next time I go up, when the 21' display model is done, I plan to fiddle with all the windows and the door. Or, if I can't wait that long (appx 6 weeks), I'll go up when the 19' is done!

Gotta get a Nexus card at this rate!

No I don't. Tammy did say when they get used to using the new jigs and such, it'll take them 2 weeks to complete an interior. I believe Reace said they're still waiting for the mold for the bathroom with the new medicine cabinet. At times it was hard to hear/understand what he was saying if there's background noise.

(I've had the problem of understanding what someone is saying if there's a lot of background noise for as long as I can remember. It's not due to the Zeppelin concerts I saw either! I was told that everyone has a dimmer switch in their brain to block out background noise, but mine is defective. Yep, Dirk enjoyed saying my brain was damaged!)

It would be nice to see that 19 all completed, so I'll send 'em an email in a week or so asking if they could let me know. Then I'll zip up and take wads more photos!

Howdy. Two questions. Can someone explain the advantage of the optional Winterizing T-Valve and do people recommend the optional removable power cord? Thanks. Snowing here in NE Ohio but dreaming of camping.

The winterizing t valve allows you to pump antifreeze thru your trailer by utilizing your on board water pump. This is otherwise a 2 person job with one outside pumping and one inside opening faucets. With this set up you merely insert the hose in antifreeze, turn on pump and then open close each faucet individually until antifreeze appears.
The removable power cord is just that, one that attaches to your exterior and plugs in at the pedestal. Otherwise you have an opening on the trailer where you remove the cord and extend it, like a long extension cord until you reach the pedestal. One keeps the exterior sealed, the other doesn't.

I used the attached cord you push back into a trailer for 25 years, and a few years ago I converted my 19 to a removable cord. While there are a couple advantages to the fixed cord, having tried both methods for myself, the removable for me wins hands down.

Both will do the job.

Good morning. Without the high lift axle option on a 19 have people had problems bottoming out at campsites.

A question on the new opening rear window - what kind of screen is used? I love the unscreened view out the non opening rear window in my 17. Not sure if screens would be annoying.

I do find screens annoying. Perhaps they could just be removed.

Not sure what you mean by this. We have a 21 and have been all over Western U.S. with no issues of bottoming out in campgrounds or boondocking. Silver Lake outside of Quincy, CA has a 10 mile dirt road access and where it gets bumpy we just slow down.

I had the lift option on my 19, and after getting it realized I would have been just fine without it. I have towed it across some pretty rough terrain, with no problem at all. Slowing down a bit for the the rare occasion works just fine.
