We ordered our Classic 2016 19 ft. Escape last August with a completion date of September 29th this year; we are returning customers having a 2014 15 ft. Escape previously, and we requested an early completion date if possible. We made an inquiry recently to see if we might get an early completion date and we were told "unfortunately not". I imagine they are doing their best to move dates up where possible and also trying to do so fairly; ie. in similar order to the original order completion dates.

We feel your pain Jabberwocky! Sold our 21 last August and have a completion date of September 13 for our classic 5.0TA. We figured build date would get moved up by a couple months has at least and we would get some trips in this summer - but no such luck! Ah well it will be sweet to get a trip in this fall including the NOG.

With the growth of ETI I can't imagine all the juggling that would be required to notify and shift the production schedule every time there was a need to change one persons build date.

I know that the schedule was behind the contemplated dates back in January when the permits were still being issued and they had not broken ground on the new expansion. That did not take place until much later. Patience is a virtue......but I'm sure they are doing their best, as always.

So the range hood, edges of the refer doors, stove cover and window frames are all black. Looks good! Contrasts well with the seat covers they have had for years.

With all this other black trim, I wonder how it would look to opt for the black Formica edging regardless of Formica color.

Back from viewing 2nd Gen 21' trailer
Okay, just got back from the factory. Loads of photos to upload and measurements of lots of stuff.
Do you folks want me to add them to this thread or to start a different one? I took 143 photos. Granted, not all of the 21, but the vast majority are. Some are duplicates of what's at the beginning of this thread, but lots of 'em aren't. And you know I'll be adding in my usual wordy commentary.
So, if you're reading this now, chime in with your opinion while I go through the photos and see if I can decipher my notes (that might be tricky - HA!). I'll check back and then will start uploading.
Thanks!

Okey dokey. One out of one vote.
Hey, go check out the thread on the new 19 footer. I finally got the full length photo of the bathroom door for ya.
So, keep hitting refresh on this thread as I've got lots and lots of photos to add.

First up is the door lock. I just read an article in Trailer Life about switching to a keyless entry, so I wanted a photo for myself as I'm quite intrigued by that idea. Maybe someone else will find this photo of benefit. Dunno.
Next is the outlet thingie for the attached power cord. While I was there I got to try the removable power cord that a customer had ordered. Don't worry - Krista took me out there and helped me with it. I did not take any photos (just now thought of it - shoot!), but I did get to fiddle around with it. It wasn't exactly easy for me to figure out (oh, the pressure of having someone watch over my shoulder), but I think it's something that will be easier as you use it more. And put a little red dab of nail polish to line up the cord and the trailer so you know exactly where the cord goes in. If you have one, you know what I mean. If not - it can be tricky. So, now I'm adding that to my build list. And critters can't get in that way! YAY!
Next up is the water outlets. Dunno, someone might need to know what it looks like.

I didn't take any more photos of the 17B since I did tons of 'em before. Plus, it took me almost 2 hours to take all these photos and get measurements, and talk to Krista and I was ready to scamper home after I was done with all that.

Underneath the trailer
Next up are photos of the underside. I just basically shoved the camera under there and started snapping away. I could not tell you what's what and will leave that for others. Well, I do know the long round tube is for the sewer hose (I think!), but that's about it. I also took lots of photos as we want to add a Purple Line Mover to the trailer and I'm gonna send 'em to the guy at the company to verify we can install one. I didn't take measurements as my knees weren't up to crawling around under there to do that.
These are from the driver's side.
