We left our stove in the normal orientation also as we mainly used the large burner in our 19, so for us it didn't make sense to have it at the back in the new trailer.

You gain about 2 or 3 inches in counter space between the sink and stove by rotating the stovetop. But, we like the side by side orientation and the space behind the stove so we didn't change it. Totally a personal preference, as are many options. Hard to make a wrong decision.

If you are planning on having a bike rack, you should also have extra tail lights put on. The bikes on a bike rack cover your tail lights and the extra tail lights are very visible and a welcomed advantage when traveling. Additional lights can be added after delivery to all trailers except the 19 due to the difficulty of the shell design.

Regardless if the trailer is bike-rack ready or not (and although Egbert is that and I have yet to haul a bike), I am pleased with my additional tail lights. My son followed me home when taking possession of Egbert. He commented on the visibility of the additional lights...something about a Rockefeller Christmas tree.

Does anyone have a picture of extra tail lights? I didn't get them but would add them for bike carrying.

You do not need them with the 21, it is only a 19' or other unit issue with the lower stock tail lights.

Here they are anyway...for a 15, that is. Others have additional lights mounted vertically on each side of the window.

After following a large stickie with low mounted "small size" tails during a little ol' west coast shower, I definitely would recommend higher mounts.

If I'm being followed by a distracted driver (meaning one of the plethora of cell phone-while-driving gas pedal pushers out there),
then I want their windshield to light up 'all-red' when I hit the brakes.
The extra lights was a no-brainer decision on my build list.

We went with two drawers below the wardrobe. It means some of the clothes won't hang full length but it gives us a His and Hers drawer. Perfect for keys, wallets, glasses...etc. Keeps our stuff from wandering. We added the Umbra hooks along the front and back walls of the bathroom which gives us plenty hanger space for extra clothes, coats, etc.

Amazing how we all vary our layout. We converted the wardrobe to a pantry by adding shelves, since we don't take any clothes with us when camping that require hanging. That left room for one drawer under the pantry. Works for us, but it points out what many forum veterans have said -- think about how YOU are going to use the trailer, and adjust accordingly.

The hooks, where are they from? Is this an option or did you install?

Umbra makes several different styles but these are the most popular with Escapees:

http://www.amazon.com/Umbra-Flip-5-H...ds=umbra+hooks

ETI will install them (you supply them) where you want them when you pick up your trailer...at least they did in 2013.

Thx these look great. Walls do not have to be reinforced, right?

I was thinking of two captain lights, one at each end. Corners best location?

No, the walls don't need to be reinforced to install Umbra hooks. We had one installed on a regular wall and it works great. If you let Escape know beforehand and take them with you, they'll install them on your pickup day. That's what we did.

We added the captains lights and we're glad we did so. We had them installed at the head of the bed.

We put two in the front dinette, on left and right corners, and two more at the head end of the rear bed. The lights get used a lot and are great for reading in bed.

We ordered the Umbra hooks from Amazon and had them shipped directly to ETI. During our briefing, they asked us where we wanted them, cut them to length (they have a steel rod or core as I remember), and had them mounted in about 30". Anything hanging on the back wall of the bathroom is rather out of the way and doesn't interfere with the seating for the table. They also made this nifty little brace to keep our under the bed wardrobe containers from moving forward.

Which is why we didn't ship them but carried them. They install them on your pickup day so shipping them beforehand isn't necessary, and, shipping to Canada is very pricey.

Is there a true head to the bed? We are having the arm for the TV installed in the standard location.

Of course there is. One must have their heads away from the door, or very scary things might happen.
