Need fabric help / Opinions

Greetings to all,

We are trying to pick fabric color for our 21' on order. We are leaning toward going with Sunbrella brand since we have had it on patio furniture and it has served us well (cushions ten years old and still look decent). So being a given that Sunbrella holds up, fade resistant, stain resistant and is cleanable even with mild chlorine solution and great guarantee would you purchase the doubled amount of fabric and get the full wrap on the cushions? We realize with full wrap you can flip the cushions over but not sure the extra expense for additional fabric is needed.
What color is on the back of your cushions if you did not get the full wrap?
Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

Brad

The back of ours is black.
Can not response to any of the full wrap, as we don't have it.

Here's a picture of the "half-wrap" with the stock fabric. The back is vinyl; ETI may change the color depending on the fabric color. I didn't bother with a full wrap with the stock fabric which seems to clean up just fine (I know). So with Sailrite, my opinion would be not to bother with the expense.

Edited: Please note that there is only the back side with the zipper that the vinyl shows on the side. Oops...Sunbrella.

Ours is similar to Karens' with a darker gray vinyl on the back. We got our fabric from Sailrite (recommended by ETI). They ship to Canada and carry Sunbrella plus other Sunbrella grade fabrics.

I got a full wrap using Outdura fabric from Big Duck Canvas. It is the same fibers as Sunbrella but I got a 9.5 oz. awning material and it is a 60" bolt of fabric vs. 54" with the Sunbrella. I got a solid yellow "Dandelion" color which I like very much. The weave is very tight. Big Duck shipped directly to ETI in Chilliwack. Make sure "FULL WRAP" is on the build sheet.

We got our fabric from Sailrite... Geobella Anastasia Peacock... We requested a full wrap on the cushions because we didn’t feel the need to have a vinyl “option” and are accustomed to full wrap cushions that can be flipped to increase the fabric life. Purchasing the extra fabric was kinda pricey, but I believe it will prevent us from ever having to reupholster the cushions. Having said that, we don’t pick up our trailer until next week but in our pop-up we never used the vinyl sides even with children and in our Scamp we enjoyed the full wrap very much. Just my two cents worth...

Black?!?!?!??! I wish!!! Ours is a crappy tan color that I detest. Did you ask for black? Dang! I'm jealous.

We wanted the full wrap. I ordered enough fabric for it. Gave it to them. Picked up the trailer and it didn't have it.

If you do get it, just make sure it's on your build sheet and don't assume you're getting it even if it's confirmed in emails, especially by a new employee and even if you're clueless about build sheets.

I like the crappy tan color way better then black fits in better with my colors. I like the vinyl back planning on turning them when wet dogs invade my trailer so I can save the upholstery- even though the sunbrella upholstery seems to clean up well.

I like the crappy tan too. Fits with some of the colors of my fabric. Black would work too. Or pink or green. Frankly, I don't see it. It doesn't show except when I lift up the cushions. Any color would be just fine, there are other things to worry about IMHO. I didn't need the full wrap. I bought enough fabric, I could use the same fabric if I bought three ETI trailers and they all had a U-shape dinette! When you find a fabric you love, make sure you get enough that if you have to replace the entire top of a cushion you can do it. Upholstery fabric (except the standards) are only in production for one year. I plan on owning Ten Forward forever. May have to completely reupholster at least once. If I should pass before I use the upholstery, my daughter will inherit enough fabric to reupholster her entire living room furniture in Hawaiian print

Last time this topic came up, I had to go out to my years old trailer and check to see if I had full wrap or not. It has brown ( I think ) vinyl.
