Since you don't have solar and transfer switch to power your 120v outlets, I recommend extra 9v outlets at bed and dinette to charge and use cell phone, computer when dry camping. That's what I'm planning to order with a new 21", based upon my experience with a 17' Casita.

I'm assuming you mean 12V?

All makes of moulded Fibreglass trailers are welcome, This will be the largest gathering of Moulded Fibreglass Trailers in History, we are expecting 1000 trailers – Boler 50th Anniversary 1968-2018 -

With the help of my brother in law I added a small wooden shelf in the bedroom just as u mentioned - very handy and we were able to match the wood perfectly.

I don't understand why one would pay extra to have a removable electric cord. The stock hard wire connection is safer and will not wear out. Plus u can't mistakenly leave ur cord somewhere. Yes it looks better, and u don't have to stuff it back in, but then u have to put it someplace. And what else r u going to use that hard to reach corner for? Also, if one is boondocking the detachable cord is more vulnerable to being stolen. For me in this case simple is better, but there r two sides to every coin.

I also really like my bathroom and kitchen window especially now that they are larger than in the first gen.

It is a wonderful trailer...July can't come soon enough I'm sure.

We didn't get the detachable cord either at first . Then one cold day in Washington was not fun getting way under the bed and having to untangle the cord . After 2 times of that got a kit and switched to detachable and am not sorry . I never believed in detachable before . The difference was cord was confined in a box and you undid what you needed and easily put cord back in our previous RV's . Hope you have good luck it took a few years for cord to harden . Purchased a extra end and that cut off cord is a spare now . Pat

Yes, I too have had both and I still prefer the hardwire, but understand the cord tangle issue. One modification I did on my Escape was add a 1 inch styrofoam panel the width of the bed which helps keep the electric cord in its corner. I've not had any issues thus far. It also provides a bit of a divider between the opening and the rest of the area under the bed.
That is probably the primary advantage of a detachable as it is a sealed socket, not a hole like u get w the hardwire.

Yes that was the first problem when got home from pickup the cord was all the way over to other side a little tangled . So I made thin ply dividers to keep cord where it belongs and didn't have any problems at all for couple years . And we go North up Washington all the time , kids . Then the cord was so tangled under there had to remove divider and get under there to untangle ,all we could get out was about 3 ft which wouldn't reach pedestal . To top it off it was pouring rain , getting dark and cold . I kind of like the hole is sealed now too . It is very easy to change in the future and you won't have problems for awhile . So give it a chance to work knowing you can always switch it . Pat
