This is where the laundry pedestal thing came up. Thanks to good input from members of this forum, the laundry pedestal idea is likely not such a good one due to blocking the converter

And, would make it difficult to use the dinette as a dinette, which my wife insisted on for a short while.

Actually I reread the OP and the 17 can rotate. I read that and thought it was the other way around. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have to see if I can retrofit it....would be nice as that is the stove like I originally wanted.
