Observation

I just noticed that on the Escape 19's and 21's the wheel wells are formed each wheel, whereas on my 2012 Escape 19' it was one large wheel well with a piece of facia attached to give it an appearance of 2 separate wheel wells.
Was this change due to the 15" wheels I wonder for 2013? Actually i just noticed, the 19's still have 14" wheels, so that is not the explanation? Has anyone else noticed this change?

The 19s all have 15" tires - since last summer some time. I do not know when (nor why) the mold changed to individual wheel wells.

I'm actually a fan of the separate piece fascia. If you have a blow out and no other fiberglass damage, you can replace the fascia easy enough. Not now, since it's part of the mold. So, I'm actually sorry it changed.

Somewhere, I read that the piece of fascia between the wheel wells was the No. 1 replaced part on the Escape 19. I know mine was loose and at some point lost the screw holding the metal bracket.

Care to guess what the No. 2 most replaced item was?

I just checked our October 2012 19', it has the one piece, (individual), wheel wells. (No fascia). We also have 14 inch tires so I suppose there was a transition period late 2012 to mid 2013.

We have 15" tires and ours was finished in August 2013. Also have the larger 4" frame which was changed somewhere in that time frame too.

Old style and not ours. I have so many pictures I saved while building ours I don't remember who's it is.

This is not ours either but is the best open shot I have of the new wheel well.
