I'm a big fan of boiling water on stove top and using a "Clever Dripper" to make my coffee. But, I have to say, there are some drip machines out there that make a very good cup of coffee, and make more than I can make in one pass with the Clever Dripper. I totally understand those that will gobble up valuable amp hours to use their drip machines.

I spent many hours over the years cleaning rust from my white painted wheels on my previous trailer. This may be because of the rough roads we travel on the last leg on the way to our fishing lakes. My hope is that these aluminum wheels will cut the maintenance down a lot.

When I was working on my build sheet for Ten Forward, I had to put the brakes on some options. I figured wheels, I could do later. Yes, I've had a trailer with the white spoke steel wheels and know about the maintenance issues. But, alloys aren't maintenance free. Twelve years of ownership of a tug with alloys tells me THAT.

You'll figure out what works for you. I'm betting you'll figure it out.

We thought about cutting out the stereo too, but decided we need it to pull in the weather and news when we are camping/fishing in the mountains of B.C. Pretty well everywhere in the regions we fish you can get a couple of FM stations that will give you the local weather and news. We need the weather information to plan how far afield we want to go and also if a long period of bad weather is moving in we sometimes cut short our trip. Saves me sitting in the truck waiting for the weather. On rare occasions when we want music, my iPhone can bluetooth music to the ETI installed stereo. The antenna on the trailer roof was what kept us from going to a portable FM radio. I thought it would bring in FM stations better.

I had purchased what appeared to be a much cheaper stereo (an Alpine) on Black Friday, intending to get Reace to install it, but after factoring in the custom installation charges it ended up being cheaper to get the standard ETI stereo. It has bluetooth as well.

You don't need them - no one does. Some reasons I would want them:
  1. appearance (obvious a matter of personal preference)
  2. corrosion resistance (although even alloys often have surface finish issues)
  3. greater strength, particularly for the same weight - handy if you hit potholes and curbs
I now only get alloys when I need extra sets of wheels for our cars (such as for winter tires).

Try reading my post again.

"I opted not for the outdoor shower, but for the outdoor dish washing station (same thing!)."

I believe that which is enclosed within the parentheses explains the "difference" between the two......
