#17. Bring your TV with you, otherwise the arm will not get mounted. Learned this the hard way, and wasn't happy about it.

12v outlet outside so you can use a fan to keep the bugs at bay.

Didn't see the opening window in the bathroom. Not that you really need it, I guess. Just seems that most everyone gets that option.

Customer added blender & ice maker for those margaritas you're gonna be whipping up!

Have fun biting your fingernails for the next 1.5 weeks!

I don't think we will want/need a 12v outside. We'll use a 110/120/whatever electric fan if we need that, but we usually just put on bug spray.

Oops! Didn't copy that one over I guess. We are getting the opening window and detachable power cord...my bad!

Oops part 2! We are getting solar...sheesh! I just looked and those appear to be the only 3 items I accidentally deleted.

Hey, I forgot the foot flush toilet as I was talking to them about installing an elongated toilet at the time. So, it wasn't on our build sheet. Then Rease nixed that plan and I completely forgot to put it back on. And then signed off on it. Fortunately Sarah agreed that we had both forgotten about it and they put it back on without charging me the fee for changes.

So, yeah, easy to miss stuff.

I was unclear...my bad! The window, the detachable cord and solar are all on our build sheet, I just inadvertently deleted them off the list I posted above when I was transferring to this post...

Yup! Finished on June 13, picking it up on the 14th , heading out on a 3 week trip up through central and northern BC and back home through northern Alberta. Chomping at the bit!

I have been waiting too long to let shiny objects distract me. I have hiking boots looking for dirt, fishing rods that need bending, and moose smokies that need barbecuing . The great outdoors beckons

If you are addressing the question to me, I have come to a happy place in my mind about that.

First, I was told by Tammy the new 5.0's would not be in production by our due date. It will be interesting to see if you find the same. So either we throw away our spot and fight for a new build date (ice cube's chance in he--!!) or we keep the 2016.

And secondly, Escape by now has pretty much the bugs worked out of the design (the solar attachment is first that comes to mind, and the frame as well) and the builders/installers probably now can build them in their sleep, it is so familiar. I'd be surprised if with the new design, they get every thing right from the first trailer. There seems to always be something that they have to modify down the road. Probably not huge things that would affect the usability of trailer, but we won't have the luxury of popping over to the factory to get the fix like a lot of west coasters.

That is what I've have brainwashed myself into thinking anyway. There will be pangs of jealousy March 24 or April 1, whenever they release the pictures, and I see a fantastic new design that I would absolutely love. I might even cry a tear into my root beer. But then I will remember that we have a fabulously well built, brand new, pretty much designed just how we want it trailer, and I think I will be able to smile through my tears...
