Would like to hear if anyone has used a Sequoia table leg and what they think of it?
We are planning to use a single leg on a 22inch x 25inch table-for-two in a 17-A dinette that will have a 15inch filler board with cushion along back wall (Mini-U).
Looking for more stable table as well as flat floor mount when we choose to remove table and just use lounge with flip-up counters.
It still uses a cone connector on top. And the base is still about 3/4" above the floor but it can be recessed by adding a layer of plywood. It is more sturdy than the double cone. I used it for a slide leg on a magic table. You have to drill out some pop rivits to make it shorter by cutting the tube off.

We had experience with this leg system in our 2005 Tab trailer. The original Tab table leg system was designed to allow the use of the table (independently) outside of the trailer. It was never completely satisfactory, and after it broke, we replaced it with the Sequoia leg system. The first attempt was a single leg (centered) for the 29" x 32" table. This proved to be unstable and was replaced with two of the Sequoia legs. This was much more stable! One advantage of the Sequoia system is that it locks in place (the original Tab legs had collapsed several times while towing). We found the two Sequoia legs satisfactory (and an improvement over the original Tab system). We sold the Tab in 2015 when we up-graded to our Escape 17B. I hope this information is of help.
Could you tell me if the wobble is at the top. It seems that the base would be very stable but the top less so since it just slides into the top cone.
If that is so I am thinking that putting the bayonet lock that is on the bottom of the post on the top as well. The floor base would be used on the table bottom as well. It would require buying an extra post and removing the bottom bayonet lock mechanism and then replacing the top male piece with it.
This is an extra expense but perhaps needed as I am wanting to make a single post smaller table.
I ended up going with a Springfield “Thread Lock” table pedestal from West Marine. I am super happy with how it turned out. Excellent set up with the 25x25 rear dinette table in my 17-A.
