Someone’s Wait Is Nearing The End

Seen at the Flying J Truck Stop in Beloit Wisconsin at about 3:00 local time. A 19 with a nice dark red graphics. Embassy Trucking out of Calgary had the haul.

I like the blue plastic, when I got mine the front was covered with bugs.

Delivery

Hi Paul
I’ve seen his rig with a load on twice in the past couple of years. I note this Escape has the light over the storage box. I think this would be a good feature. The plastic cover would make that initial cleanup a lot easier. Those big Wisconsin June Bugs smack harder than a Badger lineman. What’s the last thing that goes through a bug’s mind when he hits the windshield?

Hi:Iowa Dave... In answer to your question... His Ascend!!! When we spotted this rig at the Best Western in the big Chill, it had 2 trailers on board. The forward one had the covering. Alf

Could it be that he was just hit by an Iowa linebacker?

Isn't she a beauty! Probably catching lots of attention on her way home.

Man you guys are on the gas. No wonder I gotta be so quiet when I come to your rallies. Reminds me of the old Hank Williams Jr classic. “ I’m standing in the shadow of a very famous man. I have to steal errr get some new material.

My guess is that it was the front trailer on a 2 trailer load, and he's already delivered the first one. I like how the flatbed has ball mounts on the centerline to attach to the trailers. With such a system, all you need to do to completely secure the trailer is tie down an axle.

I wonder what is on the driver's side over the refer side vent, some sort of blemish? Also something is hanging out of the rear escape window?

On edit, it maybe a reflection off something parked nearby

Hi Jim
When I saw him last summer in Columbus, Montana he was on his way to New Jersey with a single dedicated haul. Those folks were camped across the road from you and down a little towards the restroom at Niagara Falls last September. Remember what it was like when every week was not vacation?
