Two burner in white turned 90*. No stains or damage to either the sink or stove top but then I'm not allowed in the kitchen. After you figure out white or stainless then it's; stove turned 90* or not? There'll be lots of opinions on that also.

Though it is a matter of personal choice, I think stainless looks a little higher end. Were very happy with ours. What's next, granite counter tops? Loren

Stainless here. There was a fugly warning sticker on our stainless 2 burner stove cover. Tried to peel it off on the way home and made a mess. Goofoff I had in my supplies at home took off the remaining mess of the sticker very easily.

Time to admit that I tried to use a razor blade scraper to gently remove a sticker from the white enamel stove cover, after Goo-Gone failed to do the job.
Managed to shave a small patch of paint, which is why we have a fridge magnet there.

Our stainless has been okay -- not stained after two long trips -- but I was conflicted because I think the white sink is a tad deeper. We have the white stove because I didn't want to spend extra money on stainless. It looks fine even though the two don't match. We have a light blue counter.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the pictures and the advice. I'm leaning towards stainless, but will check in with the spouse.

I went with stainless, turned the two-burner stove portrait and have a much bigger/deeper sink... SWOON!

For those who choose an oven, the stove top is black. Tammy recommended the stainless sink because it doesn't clash with the black. No stains on our sink after several trips.
