I was advised off the white sink by a friend whose Escape has one that is discolored.

On our stainless sink, I have noticed little spots that look like rust, but they're apparently not, as they clean up right away (and don't come back in the same place).

We ended up going with the 3 burner cooktop with oven (which is black), in part because I much preferred its installation: all the way over to the edge of the counter. I had thought I'd like the 2 burner stove in the portrait orientation, but changed my mind at the last minute - and at Thanksgiving I was glad to have the 3 burners. (I never had them all going at once, but the larger pots I was cooking in were easy to handle.) I also can say I like the cooktop because it's easy to clean: the grill comes off without removing any hold-down screws. (This is a comparison to the stove in my 1999 Casita, however; I don't know how it works on the 2 and 3 burner cooktops Escape installs.) I also baked 3 pies in the oven at Thanksgiving, and some andouille dressing. (Normally, I do the dressing in a dutch oven with charcoal, but it was a bit of a rainy day this year.)

That's way more info than you asked for, but it's my experience with our (my) choices.

No stain issues here. Still looking good as new.

An argument for stainless that applies to the 21 only. With the metal stripper pole already in stainless using a stainless sink and stove top with the vent hood makes for a better match.

We have the plastic white sink in our 19. We'd like to change it out for a stainless sink. The white sink works fine, but has one tiny blemish from dropping a hot match into it. No stains. We'd just prefer the stainless sink.

Does anyone know if there is a drop in stainless replacement? Anyone have a manufacturer and model number?

Thanks.

That brings some interesting... and perhaps concerning, images to mind...

Stripper Pole! Check out all the all-molded-towable forums! The pole by the door matches the sink and stove top. Stainless is the "new" in stuff.

Hey it matches

I guess that pole is for structural support in the 21, but it is rock solid and makes a good hand hold going in and out of the trailer. We like it. And I think the older we get, the more it will be appreciated. Loren

We have had stainless sinks for 40 years because of duribilty ,in our kitchen . Saw that as a kid , used in hospitals when I worked there . Always liked stainless . Now it's all over . Pat

Based on the posts above, I've decided I now need to install a stripper pole in the kitchen in my house so that I will have something to match the sink!

It is the latest fitness trend, Carl.

Hi: C&G in FL... In the quest for matching the stripper pole to the sink & stove top, I asked for a white vinyl shower curtain rod cover. Now all I have to do is cut and install it.
My wife says I need a cardio workout routine also. Alf

Thank you Bob, you answered my question about what colour the oven is. I'm going with that and a stainless sink. When I'm retired I might learn how to bake bread!
