After having our escape only two weeks we like the stainless steel sink. At home we use bar keepers friend to keep it looking nice.

Well, the stainless crowd is certainly pleased. How about the white sink crowd? Since that's the way I'm leaning (deeper and cost savings), any regrets about not getting stainless? Would you stick with the stock sink if you were ordering again?

We have the white stock sink and our trailer is a 2008---no stains--a few scratches and a small melt spot (my fault)

I use a bit of vim on it but not all that often...

Maybe the question you should ask yourself... if you're getting the white stove top and white stove vent, would you be happy with the look if the sink and faucet wasn't the same color? Maybe the white sink will take more care (?) but... I'm visual... I wouldn't be happy mixing the look. YMMV

I like both sinks and I agree with Donna that if I was getting the white stove, I'd go with the white sink and faucet. We had the white sink on our 2008 5.0 - it did take more care and attention because we're tea drinkers and the white stained brown easily (might have something to do with the man not quickly removing the tea bags..... just saying!) but the stove and sink looked nice together.
We have the SS sink and stove in our new 5.0 and it all looks grand! Slightly less aggro with stains but nothing to get excited about.

My farthing's worth......

Oh, and I hadn't even noticed that the SS sink was less deep than the white. It all works well for me :-)

Sink depth should not matter for the most part. When we wash dishes when camping, we are usually trying to minimize the amount of water used. We wash, then quickly dry with a towel, eliminating and need for rinsing too. Granted, we are most of the time not connected to an endless supply of water either, thus the conservaiton.
