Wait For Your Escape?

Hello All,

How long from Ordering to Pick-up/Delivery, did most of you wait for your New Escape Trailer?

It seems some of you waited for some months. I'm curious, as this info. will assist in my planning.

Thanks a Bunch!

Best Regards,

TurtleBax

Re: Wait For Your Escape?

I think it depends on the size you want and what opening Escape has. Some folks have waited 5 to 6 months.

Re: Wait For Your Escape?

Hi: TurtleBax...At the moment there may still be one or two build slots in Oct. a few for the rest of this year. Tammy is already into next years dates...depending on what model you're ordering.
You can register on their website to see the production schedule on line or call and ask in person. It all hinges on the availibility of the molds as to how many can be done each month. Their process of bolting the molds together to align the fiberglass shell is precise and takes extra time...but your trailer is worth it!!! Alf

We ordered our 5.0 Jan. 7th. We pick it up July 19th. It won't be long now.

Re: Wait For Your Escape?

I've been waiting 13 months--but that was by my choice. I can get out only in June and July so I had to ask for a June date and there was only the one.

Re: Wait For Your Escape?

Dates "just in time" for camping season are harder to get.

If you order for a autumn or winter delivery you can probably chose your date.

Re: Wait For Your Escape?

We ordered in October of 2010 but the delay was ours, to accommodate our schedules, for a June 27 delivery date. Oh soooo close! And we just got the first pics of ours being built from Tammy! Outstanding! I am really pleased with the ordering process and the "adjustments" along the way to meet our needs.

Re: Wait For Your Escape?

Thank you all for your responses!
It was just the feedback I was looking for.
It appears there is some flexibiltiy in scheduling, which is great and has obviously worked for all of you.

I can now advance one more move, on my master planning list. Woo Hoo!

Best Regards,

TurtleBax

Hey! We just got our "in progress" pics today as well. I wonder if Tammy may have got the baby pictures mixed up

Ours is the white one - which one was yours?

George
Our trailer took 5 months, lots of pics during construction and I was invited over during the build process.
Even more pics. We love our Escape 19', pre-front storage box:-(
I might just have to get a retro fit :-)
Its 10 months old and about 6,000k of gravel roads.
She's a keeper.

Do you know Trung? I think that he is from your neighbourhood.

Perhaps if you and he order an Escape at the same time, you can save some shipping costs. Vietnam needs more fiberglass RVs.
