Oh, by the way: Sarah from Escape told me that my new 21 would be the new body style with the flat door and the new awning. She also told me that the trailer could not be sold awning less. She also said that they were looking into offering a mechanical/electrical awning choice in the future.

With the drawers and the fact that the 21 was actually only $718 more considering our options (windows etc) it seemed like a no brainer. Will put my new tacoma to the test.

With a starting differential of $1500, why would not similarly equipped 19/21 remain the same differential in price?

well, the differences in the 21 includes some of the options that you would pay extra for in the 19: opening window in the kitchen $200, drawer under the closet $100, extra storage doors, etc. so the difference isn't that much. should have done this on April 1, but I had just sold my vehicle and was looking for a new one.

Am pretty sure Jim is the first documented case from someone downsizing from a 21 to a 19; however to be fair he did own a 19 previously and a bunch of other trailers too....

Jim's greatest disappointment was that he wasn't able to order it from Amazon with free delivery for purchases over $50.
