I have always wondered.... is that sliding curtain by the main door of the 21' standard?

and what is it's purpose?

thanks.

Standard and it gives some privacy to the bed area while the door is open....

Curtain in front of door

I plan to replace the factory issued one with a lightweight fabric shower curtain. It shouldn't be any surprise to anyone that it will have cats on it.

Now to see how it actually works when we get The Trailer. We'll see about that. But, in my mind, it works great and looks even better!

A quick update on our 21 Umbra hooks; I removed the Umbra hooks (set of 5) I installed on the bed/bathroom wall, moved our smoke detector to another location, and installed a longer set of 8 higher on the bed/bathroom wall. This set of 8 just fits between the forward upper cabinet and the corner molding at the aft edge of the wall. We use these hooks all the time and they don’t bother my entering, exiting, or sleeping at all. I see this location as the only viable location for hanging items larger than hats in the 21. We are also attaching Command hooks to the inside of the door for wet jackets and towels when necessary.

The curtain over the cubbies is standard on the 21. We weren’t sure at first how we’d like the curtain, or what we would use it for, but now we wouldn’t be without it. During the day it hides the cubbies, giving a cleaner look to the trailer, and at night and early morning it reduces the amount of light entering through the door window. Another great idea from Escape!

Why not use the standard curtain before making plans on replacement, like others, it becomes indispensable.

They do cover up the cubbies, but it's nice to have the door open but still have privacy and cross breeze, especially when coming out of the shower. Having said that, and wanting to get some color to that side of the trailer, I made a new curtain to match the pillows on the dinette cushions. Each to their own but I wasn't excited with the std beige curtain....even though it is a very well made curtain.

The curtain matches the pillows. For women, it's all about color, you know...

Yeah, I hear ya on that beige. Thanks for posting the photo - looks great! And gives me high hopes on how mine will look.

Mine will match something else in the trailer. See below.

Because:

1. I can

2. I want to

3. Beige is boring (see above comments)

4. It has cats on it

5. It matches my bedding

Which is (fortunately I got everything before they sold out, such as the throw, comforter and shower curtain):

Full Kitten Caboodle Flannel Sheet Set | Collection Accessories

Need I say more?
