Hey admin - can we make that happen?

Nothing like a $1500 day at the DMV to make things seem more real. Seems Colorado wants their sales tax BEFORE they will issue a temporary tag. Then they want to read the VIN themselves before issuing a permanent one (because Tammy and Reace couldn't possibly get it right).

Got insurance, temp tags, passports, and puppy immunization certificates. Not looking forward to 2900 miles in a week; but that's what needs to happen.

You can do it, you are still young. Try doing 5800 miles in 2 weeks, that is what is facing me going to/from Osoyoos.

Charlie, you may get lucky and grab an earlier slot via a cancellation. Get all your paperwork in and payments made, I got mine in 8 weeks the first time due a cancellation.

Thanks for your positive spin!
We are hoping for a cancellation spot. Check is in the mail and we are nailing down our build sheet to get in, and fabric ordered. You just never know. Sure would be nice to get it for summer use!

Stop all the whining. Try 3,225 miles one-way, or 6,450 round trip! But fortunately, retired so I don't have to kill myself doing it.

We should have an ice breaker prize for the most bug kills on a trailer at the rally....

I would have won that last year, going home I got behind a manure spreader and when I stopped the front of the trailer would be covered with hundred of flies and when it got hotter, let's put it this way, the CG that night did not mind me washing my trailer next to a sign that said "No trailer washing permitted". Talk about ripe.......

We did 3,200 miles in 5 days to Chilliwack and then a leisurely 4,400 miles in 16 days on the way home. Took 2 days to get all the bugs off.
