It's interesting, but I would put it in the (huge) category of "clever ideas that are fundamentally flawed and should never be sold to unsuspecting users".
Aside from the obvious issues of blocking hatch access, and being very awkward to mount and dismount, it is also beyond the hitch capacity of any reasonable vehicle. Even if it fits within the weight-carrying tow rating of the hitch, the mass of this thing is much further back than a towing ball would be and so causes much higher forces on the hitch and would be a substantial dynamic problem.
A more rational solution would be a galley box (kitchen stuff in a more compact cargo box) plus a tent. The galley box could even be on a swing-away mount, for hatch access. A commonly used alternative is the combination of galley stuff inside the SUV (or in the box of a pickup) and roof-mounted tent. Both of these alternatives would be more stable and more usable.
It's good that people try to think of new ideas, but some sort of objective and competent assessment should precede marketing. It seems that the current approach is to throw these things at the "crowdfunding" market, and if enough people who have no clue about the involved technology think it is worth commit some money, it goes ahead. Just say No to bad design!
