Article on school bus conversions

Here is an article on school bus conversions and the "skoolie" lifestyle, focusing mostly on the lifestyle:

Looks like most of these bus conversions are getting 7-10 MPG... a little more if your lucky, but some even much less. Ouch. No wonder the writing on the bus window at the top of the article says "Will work for fuel".

This is just one group of people living life on the road, many of them on youtube living in all kinds of things. I think the cost of traditional housing also has something to do with this trend especially out on the west coast. I will always have a home base but hope in a few years we will be on the road more then that home base.
Interesting article thanks for sharing.

Enjoy the journey.

Family living in 18 ft 1959 restored Airstream

My son had a nice home in NW university town. After 5 years he decided " home ownership was not what it was cracked up to be". Sold home for tidy profit, purchased trailer and has been traveling with 2 young boys and wife. They all love it. He works as a motion graphics producer and film maker on line making good money. 6 months so far mostly in SW USA. Will see where this goes?
