Audience while backing up

He actually backs up both trailers at the same time! That's either impressive or crazy!

I have reversed with double trailers, but never got anywhere near proficient with doing so. Definitely needed A LOT more practice. This feels advice is spot on.

A couple weeks ago my daughter backed her Trillium 1300 into a campsite for the first time, and the first time reversing at all without fear old dad in the passenger seat. She had a big grin when she told me about it, and said I would be proud. That is kinda a given though.

It is definitely impressive watching the guys who do it well. You basically take the same theory used for backing up a single trailer, and add the same theory once again, basically doubling the degree of difficulty.

In the past you'd mentioned that you were renovating the Trillium for your daughter. Did you ever post the finished result?

Yup, there's nothing, absolutely nothing, that makes me more crazy than an unknown person coming up, standing in front of your tug, and proceeding to wave their arms around thinking that they're helping you. If it's tricky I do sometimes move a small amount and then get out and recheck the situation.

Jim,

It takes me eight times longer to backup my truck and trailer than just my truck.

I think you have the wrong equation for the difficulty increase. Difficulty increases with the cube of the number of objects:
1 - tow vehicle = difficulty of one
2 - TV + trailer = difficulty of eight
3 - TV + 2 trailers = difficulty of twenty-seven

As Mr Kringle said in Miracle on 34th Street, "I thought everyone understood that."

This video is hilarious and feels like my first backing up lesson. I do have the trailer assist on my truck but have not tried it out yet. I will this weekend but also want to be able to back up on my own.
