We got about 15” in Asheville, but like Texas it’ll be long gone by Christmas. Hopefully Asheville will get lots of cold and snow when I’m sleeping in my Escape in Florida during most of January. Good enough reason to tow south for me.

No snow in our country yet. Saw a combine in corn about 8 pm last
Night. That’s pushing the harvest season about all the way out. Got a little work to do on the tractor but the snowblower is ready to go. Great sunsets here in the late
Fall. Say hello to Noelia

It finally stopped, maybe 2-3" total for the 12 hour period, definitely light snow.

What beautiful pictures . Hopefully all of America will experience the majesty of a White Christmas.

Still waiting for the lake to freeze over but the geese are trying their hardest to keep it open. Hopefully it will be frozen by Christmas and covered in a blanket of snow . My Grandkids love playing out on the ice.

Here at our house so far I have made a pile of cookies, a pumpkin cheesecake, mince meat pie and a key lime pie . And a maple syrup pie. Read on another site that is something a Canadian couple really misses at Christmas so decided to make one to see if it's any good. All the other fixings like deviled eggs and such are also done. Tomorrow morning around 4am the smoker gets fired up and the turkey that's being brined goes in. Then a Drive up to Plant city and everyone gets to eat and open up presents.
We tried to convince my Mom to have Christmas at our house but she wanted it at hers. So we cooked everything here and will bring it with us.
Here's some cookies
The cactus cookies are for the Sister in Law. She's from Tucson and really misses the place.

Merry Christmas !

It's beginning to look like Christmas here too ! ( our back garden over the veranda roof - the garden house ) Actually maybe the sky has been overdoing it just a bit , a week ago we had not so much as a single snowflake ! ...........From our house to yours , whether on wheels or snowed in ( or much too warm ) Merry Christmas and the very best in the New Year !

Hi: wetzk... A veritable port-a-feast!!! I'd come down just for the cookies. Don't suppose any are "Gluten/sugar" free. Alf

The cactus cookies are. I used my almond flour to make them and did them before all the other cookies. Sister in laws daughter actually has trouble with gluten so I usually make something she can eat.

I think I prefer our Sarasota Snowman scene to that.
