Best Wishes JB to speedy recovery...

Tomorrow I get released from the hospital 21 days after a hard fall that cracked my skull and a vertebrae. Real glad things are improving for me but I am going to be unable to come to the rally as I am committed meet daily for rehab, plus I have temporarily lost my driver's license. If anyone wants to buy my spot from Tuesday to Monday let me know and I will give you a great price.

Hope everyone has fun, this will be the first Escape Rally I have missed, and we will see you all next year. [emoji4]

So sorry for your fall Jim, one of the issues of aging, we hurt ourselves more frequently and we take longer to heal....hope your recovery is quick. Also realized you will not be on thursday's wine tour, Noelia will have to find another drinking partner. See you next year...or maybe another escape rally if you venture down to the states after recovery.

Take care.
There is always next year.

Ouch, Jim. That’s not good. Glad you are on the road to recovery.
Was just saying this morning: how come Jim won’t be baking pancakes, and here the answer.
Wish it was different. But “things” happen...
Get wel soon Jim! And Lisa, wishing you the best too!
This can’t be easy, but love, patience and rehab can do a lot!
You both will be in our thoughts.

Jim, so sorry to hear of this. Here's hoping you make a full recovery. Rehab and PT can work wonders but it takes commitment and perseverance. Best to Lisa too. I'm sure the first news had to be scary.

Hang in there buddy! We will raise a glass in your honor!

Wow! Jim! You will do anything for attention. Just know I will be happy to take it for the team and use your free wine tour tickets!!!

Seriously, I had no idea that you had had an accident. Dora and I will be praying for a speedy recovery and will catch up with you another time. Take care, friend!

Really sorry to hear that Jim. A serious injury like that, you must feel lucky to even be getting out of the hospital. I'm sure you'll be missed at the rally but putting your health first is the most important priority. Here's to a quick recovery.

Oh no Jim! I'm so sorry and I too want to wish you a speedy recovery! I know Lisa will take great care of you and I send her a ton of strength too. Want me to swing by and smuggle in a couple pints of Scotch? I say pints cause they may be flat enough to hide under your pillows. No? Not ready? Well, consider this an IOU. Get well my friend!

Wow, that is scary! Were you racing the young bucks on your mountain bike again! I am glad that you are on the road to recovery. Hopefully you will be enjoying camping and outdoor activities again soon!

Best of luck to you Jim. I've been down and out for a few weeks after emergency surgery, but nowhere near as bad as you. Take care, do your PT, and you'll be back at it before you know it!
