Jim, you really need to get a trailer. This sitting at home shopping is bad for the clutter.

While I do not make my purchasing decisions based on the reviews of others, I do read the reviews and pay attention if multiple reviewers post the same complaint.

Bob, I don't think that is a good suggestion. With all this time on his hands, Jim is surfing the net and finding all the gadgets and good bargains. It saves the rest of us from having to commit all that time.
Jim. Keep up the good work!

Hi: padlin... He's on a first name basis with all the Currier drivers. Besides it keeps him from racing that Mustang on the streets of America. Alf

I had bad results with a Jensen 12V TV, a non-DVD model, and I eventually junked it. Just my two cents.

I like the Samsung TVs. No comparison to the Jensen in picture quality. They're also inexpensive and can run on 12 volt with the plug adapter. Here's one for around $130 right now on Amazon. Although it's a 2013 model, the picture quality is excellent.

One caution. On my Samsung I got interference both to picture and sound. Had to add filters on inputs and outputs to get rid of it. This was using 12 volt. Using the 110 volt brick all was fine. Don't know if was the Led lights or what but was really bad. May very with model Samsung.

Yeah, I remember you mentioning that before Carl. Our Samsung runs perfectly- no filter. I guess it varies by model but probably the wiring too.

I have the above mentioned Jensen TV. Two trips totaling 6500 miles, and it's always worked great. Tip: save the box. Very necessary when traveling.

I had a jensen w/dvd player. Dvd player quit within 6 months. Also, the TV I had didn't have a great view unless you were watching it straight on. I never had any problem with the remote. I now have a Samsung and it's great.

I have a 24" Jensen 12 volt TV. So far it has worked well, and we enjoy it. But if I had to do it over I would probably get a samsung and just power it with a small inverter. As I have gotten older, I appreciate a larger screen TV, and I think at least some of the Samsung TVs want 14 volts input. We don't use the TV very often, so I think an inverter wouldn't be all that large a draw on the batteries.
