Cat detective

I once was a trained investigator some time ago but it does not take one to figure out who the culprit is responsible for these pictures. I mistakenly left some muddy shoes in the laundry tubs after cleaning and found the scene of the crime this morning.....now to examine 3 sets of paws to find out which one is the guilty party.

My guess is that it's the one that can't look you in the eye.

Then it would not be a cat. Dogs serve man. Man serves cats. Or at least they think so. The cat will be proud of what it did and demand extra catnip rations.

I’ve had cats. They are hard to train, hard to herd, and stealthy. And the stealthy part when used for vermin control is what makes them worth feeding. No cats now, too many coyotes out here. I’m sure you got the tracks all cleaned up and had a heart to cat talk.

I do not think there are many areas left that do not have coyotes. We have them too. It used to be the little old ladies just had to keep their little gater snacks away from the water. Now they can't let them out in the yard unattended.

Jack Russel

A guy at a furtaker rendezvous over in Carroll county Illinois had Jack Russel / Rat Terrier cross squirrel dog pups for sale. It was close but I got out of there before I bought one. They are hunting fools.

We once had a Jack Russell . Once he got a squirrel in mid air . He thought it was fun to chase and be dominant with other dogs . But he loved the grandkids and was very sweet . The son-in-laws loved to have a rope toy and he would latch on and you could swing him around , his jaws were so strong he held on being swung in the air . Still think about him he kind of got in your heart . Pat
