Coco

Our little dog Coco collapsed this morning after she went out to pee. Yolanda rushed her to the Animal Hospital and they said she had a heart attack. She will be taking 3 different meds twice a day for the rest of her life. She's ok now, acting normally.

It's way too young for a Yorkie to have heart trouble, but I guess this was congenital. I'm so relieved she pulled through. I'm out of town right now on business in Virginia and it would truly be hard to have my pet pass away while I'm gone.Click image for larger version

Wow, close call. Good thing help was close at hand.

Hope Coco lives a long and happy life with no further medical issues.

Awww. Poor little Coco (and Yolanda!) I'm glad she's okay, even with the meds she'll need from now on. Best wishes, y'all.

I hope Coco lives a little longer. My Franklin is 15 and keeps having little strokes but keeps plugging along. I was hoping for a peaceful sleep passing but I'm thankful for each morning he opens his eye or eyes, depending on his condition.

Thanks all. Vet says we should be prepared for her to pass the next time this happens. Hard to deal with.

I guess the best course is to just enjoy her and not worry about tomorrow.
