I guess that I am one of the minority of people who do not drink coffee or tea. However, I do get my daily caffeine fix in other ways.

I am not surprised to see Finland at the top of the list. When we lived outside Thunder Bay we went to a church which had lots of Finns and they had coffee after every worship service. and not just coffee but food as well!
Interesting to see that we're just ahead of the US on consumption.

I'll take mine on the side, please. I want nothing to taint the wonderful flavour of my coffee. I do like to have a snifter of some other nice taste on the side.
I am pretty sure I out do the average Finn in my coffee consumption, though I do not over do it like some either.

Tea has much less than coffee and you can get herbal teas that have none, if you really want to cut the caffeine. There is always root beer! (the no-caffeine ones)

I know we're talking coffee, but I was in Louisville on Monday, and the bar we ate lunch at has 650 different brands of Bourbon. I had no idea they even made that many, let alone having them all in one place.

He can quite anytime he wants to!
When I was going in for surgery and couldn't eat or drink anything that morning, I mentioned to the nurses that I had a headache from no caffeine that morning. They asked if I wanted them to put some into my IV drip. I thought they were kidding, but they said that they really could.

Jim-
Are you chasing the bourbon with coffee, or chasing the coffee with bourbon?
Either way, I like your style.

@Alf, wil see if the local BC store has a sampler pack of delicious bourbons.
@rbryan4, must not tell one of my good friends that. He would likely fly down ASAP.
@thoer, that is a good thing to know.

No way in H-E-Double L. I'm not giving up my caffeine, no way no how. It was Mr. Baglo who suggested people were getting to jittery, and to drink tea instead.

Until 2010, all root beer (and any soft drink other than cola) was caffeine-free in Canada; unfortunately, now you need to read the label.

Why would that be? Was it some sort of regulation that was lifted, or was it just that retailers chose only to sell non-caffeinated soft drinks?
