Brought me back to grade 10 at a Southern Baptist boarding school outside of Nairobi. I was given a choice of Latin or typing. I chose typing. Mid-morning we were served a snack of buttered bread. We toasted it in the fireplace. I don't recall the implement we used, but it was improvised ( probably a coat hanger ).
Two best memories of my childhood. Taking typing and eating toast.
I later learned that if you were required to write "I will not burp in class" 500 times, you wouldn't get away with typing it out on a sheet of paper with multiple carbons, proving that my education was a waste of time.

I was just going to delete it, but what the hell?
I didn't shoot it, but I enjoyed the filet. I also got to share a Tusker lager with the chief of the Wagogo on that trip.

To answer the original question - I LOVE Toast! Attached is a pic of her.
Oh, and I also love toasted bread things, so thank you! I've added this handy item to my "wish list"

You bet Dave, the trick is to get it buttered while still hot. And a cup of hot joe.

Single slice toaster
I'm looking for a small single slice toaster, preferably about 3" x 6" x 6" to carry in the trailer. Does anyone know of one?
