Jim, 14 years is a long time spent with most pets. It certainly is worth it though. We’ve had 4 years with our little girl so far.

It is so sad that we have to eventually say, “goodbye.”

Thanks so much for sharing Franklin’s pictures! Even though I knew he was starting to fail, I had hoped to meeting him at Osoyoos. He was a terrific looking dog. I bet Hershey misses him too. They looked like they had a great time together. I know there’s a big void in your life! We lost 3 of our 4 pugs in the last 2 years. Most recently Miles, 4 months ago. It’s so hard. Good luck and I’ll see you next month.

Lovely memories, and beautiful dogs. What a nice tribute. Your chocolate Lab reminds me of my first Lab.

Beautiful tribute to Franklin and to you as well. A pet owner that truly loves his/her pet knows when it's time to let them go.

Very nice slideshow Jim. My condolences on the loss of Franklin. You’ve had the privilege to make many great memories together that you can cherish.

(BTW quite the collection of campers over the years. The fact that you have landed on and stayed with Escape says something)

BEAUTIFUL tribute, brought tears to my eyes and had me hugging my two pups close.
