Thought it was a well known fact that Al Gore invented WIFI, someone should check and see if he has the patent handy.

Thanks for the info. It's stuff like this that prompted me to quit law school years ago.

Glad you walked away from the 'dark side' Mike. The longer I live the more I think Shakespeare was right.

Well, I have no particular animus towards lawyers; it's a tough job and they're not all sleazebags. But the profession sure seems conducive to sleazebaggery, and it just made me uncomfortable.
And yes, I like my Escape 21, and its propane.

You gotta love Texas bravado. Years ago I drove into El Paso from the east on U.S. 62. As I got into the outskirts of the city I saw a tank farm on the north side of the road. There were about a dozen large white tanks, maybe thirty feet wide and twenty feet high, each with "PROPANE" spelled out in big black letters. Across the street was a big metal building with a sign that read "Alamo Fireworks Supercenter."
So there-- I managed to get Texas and propane in one posting.

Pat,
I believe you're right. We also had one in Oxnard on the Blvd., but it is now the locally owned 'A-Burger'. (Seems that they went cheap on the sign mod.)

For those of you who might be Barbecue deprived, here's a link to the ultimate Barbecue Road Trip - hits probably the top 10 or 20 Barbecue joints in the entire nation.

Nice road trip, the only difference I can see (and not taste ) is Texans use bread whereas other places use rolls. But it all looks great. Did not see any poutine although in any of the pictures?

Oh Man! You're driving me nuts! I had a crab cake, a small cheese plate and olives for "dinner" last night. I'm starving

Thanks Jim! Now THAT would have been a meal. We went to a little live show in the city last night and I got outvoted. The majority wanted a variety of small plates, served in the lounge. The plates were small, and the portions were even smaller. I tossed and turned all night. May need a Sunday morning country breakfast........

The bread varies from place to place Jim. I'd divide up the barbecue joints into two types here - those with sides and setups, and those without. Some barbecue places sell only barbecue - no sides, not even sauce - just meat. If you want sides, you bring your own. Barbecue is typically sold by weight.
