Though fortunately not there on all points, most of it is beginning to ring true. Other than the disco thing, never could get into that. This past Halloween I went to a party that had a disco theme. I dressed as a rocker, with a T-shirt that said "Disco Sucks".

*this is only the expressed opinion and preference of the poster, and in no way intended to bash those goofballs that were in to disco.*

I attended a sports turf seminar in St. Louis some years ago. One of the speakers was the son of former Chicago White Sox owner Bill Veek. He told the story of the famous Disco Sucks promotion in 1979. You can google that and get a laugh today. You're old if you remember the promotion and the outcome. You're really old if you still listen to baseball on the radio.

Great way for a summer afternoon nap. Listen to the first couple inning, sleep thru the middle ones and wake up for the end of the game.
