Merry Christmas to our Escape community! I had to share this very special present our daughter made us. Sixteen years ago she made each member of our family a hand painted ornament depicting our favorite things and we all treasured our special ornament. This year she, as she helped decorate our tree, she dropped my ornament and BOOM it was gone. (She comes over every Christmas for this ritual…the decorating, not the BOOM). So, Christmas she surprised me with a replacement ornament that had me choked up.

Here is her labour of love where you can see three scenes depicting 4 of my favorite things:
1. Flyfishing with my wife Margie
2. My beautiful iMac 27 incher where I do my photo/video editing and video creations. On the computer screen you can see another of my, one of a family of Northern Flicker woodpeckers that visit the bird feeder hanging in front of our kitchen window. This stunningly beautiful bird and many others entertain us just several feet away as we enjoy our morning coffee.
3. OUR ESCAPE TRAILER, here parked under a night sky.
