Well, since global warming is a myth to many, your wall will probably last. However, if you get serious about a brick and mortar structure, remember our neighbors to the south are spoken for. They will be building the wall on the southern border from our side of the border. At the end of the day, we will all need a Harvey Wallbanger. The next day will start with a Tequila Sunrise. Remember those?

A nice place to visit, and a great place to hold a rally in the early spring, but no way I would live in the southern part, south of Vernon, way too hot and desert like for me. Might suit Americans used to hot.

That looks like the foundation work to my home.

I believe you and I are old enough to remember when the Soviet Union built the Berlin Wall to keep undesirables from entering East Germany.

Walls

Yes I remember the Berlin Wall and other Eastern European tragedies and travesties. My former Parks Commissioner is an avid reader and likes history. He was telling me he recently read a book on all the great walls of the world. He found it fascinating. I'm not much of a political or religious person but I do believe we need to learn to get along, especially considering the many ecological disasters we've all helped create. Walls won't do it.

What was old is new again.

Mother should I build the wall,
Mother should I run for president,
Mother should I trust the government,
Mother will they put me in the firing line,
...... Mother did it need to be so high.

I think there's something like 1 million American people living in Canada. One in thirty Canadian residents was born in the States, myself included. ...and I don't think we moved north for the poutine

Never actually had poutine. Not much of a 'thing' out west.

One of the best poutines I have had was on Granville Island in Vancouver. If you haven't tried a GOOD poutine, you haven't lived yet.

I actually don't eat it a lot, but have found it all across Canada. Actually had some here in Toronto this week that was not bad, but far from the best I have had.

I always thought "good poutine" was an oxymoron.

I can definitely attest to the fact that is untrue. Just as there are good trailers, there is good poutine.
