Mommy, what's a Canadian

I might get shunned for this but...
A little kid asks his mom, " Mom, what's a Canadian?". Mom replies," a Canadian is an unarmed North American with health insurance"

Too smart to respond. Either that, or too confused.

This probably would be funny if it wasn't so darn close to the truth.

I'm thinking the Okanagan Valley with that interesting micro-climate. But unfortunately Canada doesn't seem to be desirous of a bunch of retired US citizens becoming permanent residents!

Eric
We can't form an ex-pat community there and pull our Canadian made trailers in a circle? Maybe they'd just ignore us, but we would need citizenship to get healthcare.

Thus the reason they don't want a bunch of aging Boomers!

Why is it that every time the US has an election many people threaten to move to Canada yet no one threatens to move to Mexico
If I was Canada the last thing I would want is a bunch of disgruntled people moving in. Evidently Canada has a lot to offer and possibly envy , especialy IMHO their great fishing & hunting

Thanks Jim , I apologize for not including Escape , which is certainly another one of Canada's great treasures .
I am a great admirer of Canada and any listing of their attributes by me would certainly come up short.
I am looking forward to our 39th annual fishing trip to Canada in May.
It's always a fun trip and an enjoyable experience.
Nothing beats a meal of fresh caught Canadian walleye with some fried potatoes and onions.
