I saw that first one on Amazon awhile ago and thought it looked very interesting. Except for the fact I don't do coffee or anything with hot water (hot chocolate from time to time, but not enough to justify that device). But, yeah, what a great way to have all that together if you would use those devices every day.

Now if it was just the griddle and toaster oven, we might be talking!

Did not see the hotdog device though. boy, the things they come up with! We used to just heat ours in hot water on the stove (back before microwaves).

If they're anything like the all-in-one printer-fax-copier devices,
No thanks. As soon as one part goes south, three functions are
dead in the water.

Sounds like me . I say that all the time. Try and find just a printer now , or a scanner . Pat

How about sticking a nail in each end of the hot dog with the nails hooked up to a 110 volt extension cord. Did that a couple of times when I was a kid. Heats them right up. Nothing like cooking a dog over a fire. PS don't use galvanized nails and goes to say, unplug the dog before you try to pick it up.

At least in the printer/fax/copier, components are serving more than one function, so it makes sense. The coffeemaker+toaster+grill share nothing but a housing and a power cord.

I remember that! There was even a commercial version that worked the same way: the Presto Hot Dogger.

I have two in the office, and love them. Not a single problem. One is laser (Brother), the other is a large format inkjet (Epson). It sure saves space, and as Brian mentions, theie various duties share components. Only one sees use as a fax, and that is becoming a very rare thing, almost everything is scanned and emailed, as it gives you a copy at the ready, in the office or on the road.

Hotdogs are pretty gross anyway, as they are just about as tasteless as imagine sawdust to be. When they prepped, but raw, microwaved or boiled causes me o have a gag reflex. Only if it is fried, grilled, or fire roasted, would I even consider them. There are so many foods with less unhealthy additives and preservatives to choose from instead. Give me some kind of good sausage, and I am all over that. Lisa has sourced a few that use zero preservatives. Just one of our attempts to make it to a healthy retirement.

I know, I know, the beer I drink, which is full of glutens, is not so healthy either.

Them are just another appliance to clean. When I need a hot dog I just have my people heat one up for me.

I think you should have to have a doctor prescription that says you have celiac disease to buy gluten-free foods.

I am that too.

Oh, and add whisky to that too, and the occasional other drink as well.

Most food is gluten free. We have been avoiding many that aren't. No disease, but we do try to eliminate some foods our body does not need, but beer and the odd slice of bread are just something I can't give up, just for health's sake.

Gee, thanks, Nathan, always looking out for me!

Actually, I showed it to Dirk and he said "cool". We've talked about getting a small toaster oven for the trailer later on as I use one in the house quite a bit. No reason to heat up the huge oven just for two people. I'll be searching the internet later for small toaster ovens to see what is what. Now I know I can get one with a griddle, if I want.
