I guess the exterior walls are fiberglass, just not a molded shell like the Casita and Escape. Looks nice. I wonder what the pricing will be...

I like looking at new designs. Interesting to see what manufacturers are creating, even if it's something I'd never want.

It’s funny. I look at a nice modern design, both inside and out, and all I see is seams. I imagine leaks to the exterior, interior, and especially the shower. I should be looking at the floor plan, amenities, and other qualities, but I’m searching for places for water to intrude. I’ve got issues

Someone looks like they have been studying Escape. This is packed with a nice list of standard features. Like the permanent queen bed, the 6'-6" ceiling height, modern kitchen with SS backsplash, all major appliances venting on driver's side and the propane storage hatch up front. Dislike the awkward wardrobe cabinet over the back bed and the exposed wheel wells out beyond the trailer shell.

As I said earlier, I'm always interested in new stuff. I went to an RV dealer this past weekend... yep, I did. Saw a couple of really interesting features in the new nuCamp by T@B, the folding bathroom sink which uses the Alde Hot Water system, to this neato molded interior door.

But, what about that sink in the Sol? It is a deep old fashioned sink, looks like a retro residential sink my parents had at one time.

I have been keeping a close eye on this Hymer product now being made in Ontario.
A lot of great features for a summertime RV.
The home page for this was much better and there are better pictures out there.

Yes, I saw them, but why do you call them summertime campers, I believe they have heat and thermal windows.

I viewed a Hymer this past summer. Yes, it does have some nice features. What I didn't like was the formed plexi windows. Eventually those are going to be scratched, chipped, get foggy or break. Will they still be available in 20 years? I'd prefer window frames with flat glass.

A major manufacturer in the region is reportedly laying off at least 90 employees.
Employees say the notices were handed out on Monday morning at Erwin Hymer Group, a motorhome and caravan company that also owns the Kitchener business Roadtrek.
A letter given to an employee and obtained by CTV says a recent economic downturn was not anticipated and resulted in a drop in sales.

I called it that because I know some people are not going to like the pop top for off season heat loss. I would just lower the top for the night if i though it was going to be cool out.

There are some great standard features for the price like lots of outside hatches, aluminium wheels, aluminium rock guard, power cord with the plug, inverter etc.

I wonder if that is a galvanized frame or just painted silver?

Pretty nice fit and finish, but some of the negatives for me though are low ground clearance, surge brakes, pop top has to be up to get 6'-5" height, very small fridge that operates only on 120VAC or 12VDC, cassette toilet and a single 20# propane tank. Also where is the spare tire?

Been looking at this trailer for awhile . The windows are one of the best features of the trailer . True awnings windows , extremely well insulated and makes RV 's quiet . Love the modern look in the trailer . Love the bathroom . Not too concerned about the toilet . Had a portable in our tent trailer before . Love all the electronics are up and not on the floor . Cool door , high end step . Comes with a inverter . Heater I believe is the truma . Refrigerator I think was a compressor type ,not bothered by the size because we still always bring a cooler . Compartments pretty neat on exterior. Lots to like and price is not too bad . Very nice trailer , there is not one RV that is totally perfect . Pat
On the exterior . The negitive was a low ride height and where is the awning ?

If there were no Escapes then this would be a strong contender for our camping needs.

The fridge is a little low for our liking but I think we could make due with its size. I would have to get the optional spare tire. Guess it just slides in that great rear hatch and is stowed under the bed.

Best of all I could get it in my garage for the winter.

The Hymer has the door blocked when the front bed is set up. That seems awkward and unsafe.

Yes it turns the door into a hatch. Just a bit more usable than going out the back window.
Not very convenient when you have to retract the awning in the middle of the night...of course what awning.
I think you could do something different for a single bed or two short kids.
