Just watched an episode on Vikings. They named Greenland to attract settlers to the barren place.

Why buy a place so cold and dark? Ever been to Turks and Caicos? Now if I'm looking to buy a country I'm starting there

Enjoy the journey.

Hi: stratos175... Not to put to "Pull it a cull" a spin on it but one day the sun will shine on Greenland. It's bound to be cold and dark the other days!!! Alf

So you can build a business, bankrupt it, and collect on the business insurance. Ask Scottland how well it's going for them. Greenland has apprently heard, they say they are "open for business, but not for sale". Too bad so many of our politicians can't say the same (cough cough).

At half-way to 80 I see septuagenarian lawyers, congressmen, billionaires, plumbers and presidents to, well, there seem to be many from the "lets change the world" flower generation mired in serious ethical trouble. So nothing changes after all.

Flowers

Nice photograph.
Here are some day lilies at my friend’s place. He has 3,000 plants including some hybrids his wife has developed. He’s a master politician and former city commissioner. Slimy people did not like him.

IMHO This forum should stick subjects like let's say "Escape Trailers" with occasional discussions on important stuff like beer and college football. After all my political opinions don't mean squat to you and yours sure as hell don't mean squat to me

Now me and "Mister Cone" are headed to the COE Modoc campground on lake Thurmond to do some camping and play with my trolling motor powered kayak. Mister Cone is our ancient three legged beagle and has faced some real challenges in his life. Y'all take care now

You forgot poutine, this forum can't function without poutine.

And, of course, there's a chance that Canadians might have slightly different political opinions than Y'all.

Last week I was giving my two year old grandson some tips on self defense. I told him to watch my right hand which he understood. Then I came in from the left and tagged his right ear. I told him never trust anyone over 70. Our favorite pastimes are noogies and Dutch Rubs. Our favorite song is Baby Beluga.

No politics, just the facts....

The yield curve just inverted and RV sales are down 20%. Anyone else remember when we heard that before, and what happened next?

Don't believe what you hear, or anyone else's "opinion" politcal or otherwise.

Believe the data and the facts, and then batten down your hatches.

Supposedly, Greenland would be strategically valuable to defend against Russia. But Greenland is not for sale. So, let's cut out the middleman and buy Russia.

Think of all the great vodka.

Ron Could care less about your political opinion or the guy who lives next door. I looked at the "Escape" forum as just that. Especially an escape from politics both from the right and left. There are appropriate forum for the political opinion nonsense and I just hope this site doesn't sink in that direction; And, what do Canadians know about college football and beer anyway?

What is "poutine
