Cool name, Jim, but be prepared when you're in your home state for people to point westward and say "You must be lost - the prairies are that way".

By the time my grandmother moved west to Alberta to homestead the railway had been completed; I assume they took the train and certainly didn't use a horse-drawn wagon (although my grandfather ran a stagecoach business for a while). Now virtually nobody uses a train for long-distance transportation in Canada. It's amusing that some things do kind of go in cycles.
