Dave, the tiny amount of regular lawn we had left is in the process of being converted into a mixed fescue low mow area with naturalizing flower bulbs planted intermittently. We saw one that got us thinking about it in Obreck gardens in Madison. My old Toro is close to being sent to a local high school small engines class for students to play with.

75 is melting. Mind boggling.

That's the setting on the AC thermostat at my house. Cool it down to a nice 75.....

Don't forget Robert that our bodies in Canada don't freeze until -40C or F take your choice, it's the same. But they melt when it hits 20C or 68F. Bet you're glad to be out of ON, or are you?

That A/C temperature setting is the same that we cook food at here.

Yep, if you order it well done. Beer needs to be a little cooler. Can't go with those European serving temps, though we used to rather than spend beer money on ice.

"Some days are better then others". This banter should be on Facebook. But sure enough, this banter made me log into this forum too many times (hooked by now), reading almost every thread, and unknowingly picking up "technical" stuff.
A huge Thank You for all the "banter" teachers on this forum who make learning fun!!

Be careful or you can come to the point where your mate walks by says "are you on that stupid Forum again?" shakes their head and walk on by.....

When we meet other Escape owners, Mary introduces herself as the one who is never here...

Rita always says, "I made him get his own account because of what he says." The last couple of years on this next weekend, I went to the Midwest Gaming Classic near Milwaukee with my son. 400 pinball machines on free play. The rascal traded me in for his new bride this year and talked me into watching his dog.

400 machines. Now that would be something.

Nope. Still here, still freezing. Liberated tomorrow evening when I head home. Highs around 80 and lows around 60. I feel better just thinking about it. First thing I'll do is sit on the patio and have a cold one.

Seems ironic you go south to get warm to drink a cold one, why not just go outside where you are and it is cold and drink a warm one? same effect? just kidding....

We used to take warm beer ice fishing, submerge in in the lake and rapidly chill it, then complain when it froze in the can before you could drink it. Led to a lot of chugging. People who ice fish usually ain't quite right.

That's a thought I've had often when seeing folks sitting on buckets watching a hole in the ice in below 0F weather......

LOL. I had the same thought before I read Jim's post too.

I tried ice fishing once. That was enough for me. Maybe in one of those big shacks, with a bunch of buddies, and a well stocked bar.........

We have been in Texas for weeks and it was cold and poured every time we were moving. Now the last three days it is in the 70's up to 80 and great weather.
