Raccoon Supper

[QUOTE=cpaharley2008;139189]I think my fish had babies

Out here, raccoon and mink babies = no fish babies living to see preschool. My neighbor said I can't figure this out, my koi are all gone. The next day I ran a mink out of my prairie.
Your flowers look great.

Mine too, they started chasing each around the pond about a month ago

No raccoon problems here. They showed up almost immediately after I put the pond in several years ago. I bought an electric fence module and put two wires a few inches off the ground. They got zapped, tried again, got zapped and gave up. Don't think they've tried it recently but I leave it on at nights anyway. Some of my goldfish are almost koi size so I'd hate to loose them now.

Spring here too

Things finally greened up here, Rhubarb is coming along. My Neighbor farmer seeded 23 acres to pheasant restoration habitat under a new cooperative program. We are very excited about this. Remember folks, the pollinators need all the help they can get. Plant flowers, flowering trees and milkweed for Monarch butterflies.

Hi: Iowa Dave... Sorry I'm not planting milkweed but the Monarch butterflies do use them as a food source. http://www.peleeisland.com Point Pelee... 1& 1/2 hrs west of us is the route they use to cross Lake Erie. I prefer to go round the lake specially when towing "Escape Hatch II". Alf
