Surprising Find
Hey Jim Norman
Was down in the garden this morning and found something I’d never seen before. A personalized Zucchini was growing down there and it had your name on it.

Noelia’s share
Hi Jim and Noelia,
I was so surprised to see yours that I quit looking. Sorry, I’ll check again later. On a related note, the hot weather we have been having has brought the peppers along nicely. Fajitas with fresh peppers and onions, can’t beat it. Apple crop is good on some trees. Very short pollination window this year. Pale purple coneflower and regular purple coneflower are coming on.
Have a great weekend. And that’s for everybody.

Geez I even used the Cyber campfire section. Where’s the Jallapeena SPAM? I already know where the white bread is.

We are Iowans, we speak Iowegian. We have trouble with Spanish, French, some parts of English and all of Asia. We are, however good in Czech, German, and in northern Iowa Swedish and Norwegian. We get all mixed up trying to describe the asphalt shingle covering on houses, it always comes out sounding like a dog barking at a cat. My brother does grow some habaneros and tomatillos even if we can’t pronounce it. The guy selling the seed can’t either. It’s all good. Here’s a pic of an idled short line loco on a siding in my old neighborhood. CRANDIC. Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.

I got a newsflash for you; seems like half of America says "ruff" for roof and "crick" for creek.

I’m sorry I should have added that Don Is a railroad buff and it’s my job to help him build the dream railroad nostalgia trip on his bucket list. ( Midwest segment) .
The Rock Island line is a might fine line.

Probably a function of all the Iowans who have moved away and polluted the English language. Or as they say “Nothing to get all het up about.”

Always marveled that Brent can't even pronounce his own name.
How does Favre become FaRVer?

Or worse yet, Far-ve.
He could throw though. Reckless as all get out, but he could throw.

I grew up in Northern Utah and can always tell someone is from there because they say "melk" instead of "milk".
