Would love to know a good small capacity stovetop tea kettle with whistle to buy. A liter size would be just fine. Preferably stainless or copper. Something that doesn't break.

For years the thought of starting off the day with a cup of tea made me ill. Had to be coffee for breakfast and then tea for other times. Now it's straight tea; black tea to start and end the day and green tea at the other two meals. Except when on the road, nothing but the finest Nescafe instant coffee for me. Probably because tank water doesn't make good tea.

Here's a six-cup Revere kettle. I have one and used it for a short time in the trailer but it just wasn't big enough for me. Other than that, it was great:

https://www.amazon.com/Revere-6-Cup-...re+ware+kettle

Edited: I just looked at the price and I'm pretty sure that I paid no where near that ($95USD). I just wouldn't have.

Second edit: Okay, that is weird. Other sellers have it for as low at $16.

Since installing a water system in the kitchen, we find both coffee and tea tastes better. I make probably 3 gallons of sun green tea a week, if the sun is out.

Hi: All... My favorite tea comes from Buy Tea Online - Murchie's Tea & Coffee | Loose Tea & Teabags. They're in Vancouver and have the best varieties of all teas. The only thing I hate is when my tea gets loose!!! Alf

That is a very nice one ! We usually bring a China pot or one of those polish pottery pots . Since we always plug in we actually use an electric kettle .....but the tea does taste best ( to us ) with the water boiled in a stainless kettle . We're not so much into the green teas or the flowery ones .

I love tea too, a wide variety of herbals that is. I do not add anything to my tea (or coffee) so love stuff that has great flavour on it's own, so not too keen on the bitterness of black tea. David's Tea has lots of great offerings. I mostly do loose, but there are some bags not too bad either.

I can drink anything that half-way resembles coffee (as long as there's lots of it), but I am totally picky when it comes to green tea. I think I've tried every single brand. Most smell really good but taste like cardboard water (to me). I've found exactly one brand that I like and will drive miles to buy it. Although it is available online here: https://takaokaya-usa.myshopify.com/...green-tea-bags

Hi: Jim Bennett... I like the Orange spice black tea from Murchies. Some times I even add some more orange peel. Green teas taste like um... well GREEN . Alf

Agree that is almost too cute not to buy , if we were brewers rather than steepers.....for steeping 1 1/2 L is a bit large for two .

Black tea does not need to be bitter . When Wolf used to fly Ont . Water Resorses guys out to camps in north western Ont . they would brew their tea over a camp fire ....for a long ...long time - although they always offered him some before flying back to base - he only took them up on it once ..... Apparently it was blacker than coffee ........

Hi: C&Gin FL... Our water here is best for brewing or steeping. Soft well water without chlorine. I gotta go put some on right now for tea!!! It's finally stopped raining. YEA!!! Alf
