I never put these two together. Love the painting (obviously with my avatar), but the song never really appealed to me, though now I would like to listen to it again.

I am at Memaloose State Park which is about 70 miles east of Portland. The temp is 89 degrees at 10:30 pm I am thankful for the AC, and the new fridge which maxed out at 40 degrees eve n though it was 101 today

It happened again, only this time the wrens were making a nest in the air conditioner on top of the Escape. I'm glad I saw them carrying materials into the nest and got to it before they laid any eggs. I then wrapped bird netting around the AC to discourage any more intrusions. My wife always hangs pots full of flowers around the house for the wrens and they do usually build nests in them, but the Escape is just too tempting, even for birds!
