“To expect that you can have this dream and then go back to work on Monday morning and then do it again next weekend without any maintenance is a lie. It’s fantasy.”

Hum... that says a lot about the industry.

Nothing is perfect, but the industry can do better if they were willing to accept a reduced margin, or if consumers were willing to pay more for a quality built trailer. From attending shows it appears it's all about the square footage. This is like homes, a lot of the public wants the most space they can afford. When we see a 24' new trailer for 14K, we wonder about how long it will last.

It will be interesting to see how customers react to all the problems long term. How many people will turned off by poor quality and extended time frames to get things fixed. Will the drive to build them as fast as possible using the cheapest materials come back to bite the industry or is there just that much demand that it doesn't matter?
