I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt about Poutine, till I saw this. Right up there with McRibs.

All the fast food joints seem to be getting into it, I tried some at Harvey's...total crap. Not that I don't eat any junk food, but it has been a few decades since I have been in a McD's.

Good article, Donna. It has an important piece of advice that could redeem the plate (important words underlined):

"Some of my fellow classmates used to put ketchup on top of their poutine and I remember thinking that I would not want to do that with my poutine! Unless you really love ketchup, don’t use it on poutine."

The thought of putting ketchup on poutine made me throw up a little bit in the back of my throat.

Bad enough I see people put it on eggs. *shivers*

Pico de Gallo is the #1 best for eggs.
Strawberry jam is #2 best for eggs. (#1 and #2 never together)
Strawberry Jam, you say? This is Ventura County, home of the best strawberry jam.
(Sorry, I should have posted this under "regional delicacies", but I got carried away)
