Too much rain
We had 6 months of rain in one week here in York,Pa. Very wet, went out to side of house and found this gem- 18" across

When I see a mushroom I don't know( which is most of them) I think of the fanciful names they have like goats beard, spaghetti, buttons, elephant ears etc. and then I think of one called death angel and I just keep walking.
And the Czech word for the mushroom is "houby".
Garlic is pulled and drying. Timing was perfect according to my brother Bruce.

That could be a Death Cap, but you can't tell without looking at the base and the underside of the cap. Thing about mushrooms is simple - if you don't know for certain what it is, don't eat it. More mushroom poisonings come from Death Caps than any other species.

Interesting memory recall of while at work for the bureaucrats, it was suggested this what it must be like working at a mushroom farm, " they keep us in the dark and feed us bullcrap all the time"....
