too sad

It is with sadness that I pass this along, particularly for our whiskey imbibers...

Takes time to slurp up that much spilled whiskey.
Strange, it didn't go up in a fireball... so much for the name!

Was wondering why the 13WMAZ struck such a familiar note. Then it came to me: I used to live in the York/Red Lion Pa.area. That is a York station isn't Jim?

Fireball

Fireball appears to me to be a staple of America’s midwestern college students. I’ve seen it at the recent tailgates I’ve been too. I never knock another man’s poison but I don’t care for the fireball myself.

And I luv that stuff! Oh man, when camping and it's cold and rainy, having a sippin' cup of it is all-over-warming. Truly, it just tastes like those Red Hot cinnamon candies, but better!

You're a better man than me. I can't even choke the 'good' stuff down.

Sippy cup

I can see you as a coed with cup of fireball in hand and shoestrings in university colors in your saddle shoes.

Every year for deer hunting I make a half gallon of homemade Fireball except I make it with brandy and Penzey’s stick cinnamon. Good as a drink , on bread pudding or as an ice cream topping . It has replaced snowshoe grogg at hunting camp .

Tried to drink it once, and once was enough. To be fair though, I don't care for hot cinnamon in a candy, let alone a whiskey.

I was once on a wilderness whitewater trip in Idaho where the gentlemen all gargled with it in the morning in lieu of brushing their teeth. I use the term gentlemen loosely.

Yes, nasty. Very nasty. Even worse than Southern Comfort. Talk about a massive hangover . . .

If it wasn’t for our granddaughter coming to visit for 3 weeks I’d be crying the rest of the month over the lost sipping
