Pretty early in the day for such a brutal concept. Are you growing any jalapeños in your garden this summer or do I need to bring you some to Niagara Falls ?.

Those who like it HOT, like 'em a lot!!!

Hi: All... Here's a link to a Canadian Hot sauce source. http://www.chillychiles.com In the hot tradition some times they make you sign a waiver to buy hot stuff. Usually when it's hot going in... it's hot coming out!!! Alf

No, my jalapeños did not take this summer, just tomatoes and squash. Only jalapeños I'll have will be in my Spam I'm bringing. I'll also bring some scrapple for sampling.

If you ever go to New Orleans, you will be amazed by the number of brands of hot sauce. And most seem to compete for the most unusual or funny label.

Hi: Ray N... Makes Tabasco seem ordinary... doesn't it.
I had a bottle of Black Widow hot sauce once and they recommended using a tooth pick as a dropper. WAHOO!!! Alf

Which begs the question, why not just poke yourself in the eye with the toothpick?

Hi: gbaglo... Pain threshold would be about the same!!! Eating the sauce means you can still see through the sweat drops. The waiter in the restaurant didn't believe how hot it was. We heard from the mgr. he was out back of the "Outback" with the garden hose!!! Alf

Or if you are really tough, put some Black Widow on the end of the toothpick and then poke yourself on the eye. Gives a whole new meaning to the term "double blind" All of the adults in our scout troop who did military service in the Deep South all put Tabasco on their scrambled eggs, I tried it a few times but did not enjoy it all that much.
Dave.

If you're looking to offend, you'll likely have to try harder. Poutine bashing might get a rise.

I like spicy; but my taste stops a bit short of bear spray.

We eat alot of chiles, salsa and hot sauce. Our rule of thumb is simple - the heat should enhance the flavor of the food - not dominate it. In Mexico its the same way. Ultra hot salsas and sauces are nothing more than a novelty, and aren't related to real cuisine. They always remind me of a bunch of teenage boys 'daring' each other to try something. The name of that sauce is a dandy though, I'll give it that. Thanks for the chuckle Jim.

I am highly offended by the use of inappropriate words in this thread. I think the OP should be censured, whipped with a wet noodle, and be forced to drink a bottle of the sauce......straight.

By the way, we need a tongue in cheek emoji !

Since things are being passed on I always recommend using ice cream as a chaser. Next morning you can be saying "Come on ice cream."

I like it Dave. Maybe we've come up with another salsa name.

When I was younger, the quest for ever hotter peppers and hot sauce was fun. But somewhere along that quest, I realized that I really love the TASTE of the peppers in some hot sauces. So now I've migrated to ones like Cholula that I can slather on in large amounts, and actually get to taste the sauce.

Yeah, Cholula is also my go-to nowadays.
